About Me
Who is Christophe VG?
Christophe VG (Christophe Van Ginneken) is an Enterprise Architect from Belgium with over 25 years of experience in software architecture, technology consulting, and digital transformation. Based in Baal, Belgium, he helps organizations translate business strategy into valuable IT solutions.
What does an Enterprise Architect do?
An Enterprise Architect ensures the realization of the client's dream according to best practices and good principles. This involves translating business vision into IT strategy, creating roadmaps that resolve conflicts and support stakeholders, and guiding transformations to deliver tangible business value.

What's your professional background?
I've been working with computers since 1983, starting with a Tandy Color Computer 2. My career spans:
- Enterprise Architecture at organizations like Gosselin Group, Bank Van Breda, Acerta, and TUI
- Software Architecture for companies including UnifiedPost, SD Worx, and Telindus
- Embedded Systems & IoT research at KU Leuven and University of Antwerpen
- Founder of 2Know BVBA (freelance architecture) and co-founder of Valid Solutions
- Creator of various hardware and software projects documented in Makes
I hold a Master's in Computer Science from KU Leuven (2014), following a career transition in 2011 to pursue formal education in embedded systems.
What makes your approach different?
I describe myself as a problem seeker rather than just a problem solver. Before jumping to solutions, I dig deeper to uncover the true challenge. This prevents treating symptoms while underlying issues continue to cause harm.
